Rooted in rock while effortlessly crossing into soul and jazz, vocalist Gonzales is known for her powerful, expressive voice and captivating stage presence. Featured with the Grand Junction Rockestra and recognized as the voice of Peach Street Revival, Gonzales brings fresh interpretations to music made famous by artists such as Aretha Franklin, Nancy Wilson, Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, Chaka Khan, and more. Joining Gonzales is acclaimed bassist Bill Ritchen, who holds music degrees from the Eastman School of Music and The Juilliard School and performed with the San Francisco Symphony for 38 years, appearing in concert halls around the world. His career includes collaborations with Linda Ronstadt, Metallica, Melissa Etheridge, Bernadette Peters, and many others. His approach to playing draws on influences ranging from rock and jazz to Bach and Mozart. Together, GONZALES & RITCHEN are a musical tapestry of sophisticated jazz, soulful grooves, and dynamic improvisation. Anchored by expressive vocals, acoustic upright bass, and electric bass guitar, their performances are both intimate and electrifying. Frequently joined by exceptional guest musicians, no two shows are ever the same, making each performance a unique and unforgettable musical experience.
